Angel and Lace, 12" x 16" Angel is the most famous fragrance of modern times! The star shaped Angel bottles are exquisite, and I love the way the many facets reflects the light and picks up colors from the surrounding area. This work is extremely detailed and took quite a long time to paint. The lace especially! Angels and Lace was done in many layers to allow the white of the paper to show through and create the lace-like effect. This painting is an excellent example of how particular I get with detail - even more so with watercolors.
