New York City Shopper is based on a photo I had taken one windy afternoon in New York City and is my first New York painting. There is incredible detail in this watercolor such as the flowers, which can be viewed through the glass panes behind the pedestrian crossing the street. As the shopper obviously has purchased some Clarins products, that company was proud to have New York City Shopper on exhibit in their corporate offices for quite some time.
