Purple Clusters, Watercolor on paper 12" x 16" Purple Clusters represents the second occasion upon which I did a watercolor based on a photo I previously used as an inspiration for a flower oil painting, Clusters of Purple. You will see that Purple Clusters is extremely detailed and includes a butterfly not seen in the original oil painting. Although this isn’t actually a butterfly painting, in the midst of Purple Clusters, a vibrant purple floral painting, the butterfly certainly stands out. Original and giclee prints available.
